Instructions
Creating amazing stuffed mushrooms involves a few simple steps. Follow these instructions closely for the best outcome:
1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lightly greasing it with cooking spray or olive oil.
2. Clean the Mushrooms: Gently wipe the mushrooms with a damp cloth to clean them, removing any dirt. Remove the stems and set the caps aside.
3. Chop the Stems: Finely chop the mushroom stems and set them aside to include in the stuffing.
4. Cook the Filling: In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once it’s heated, add the chopped mushroom stems and minced garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
5. Mix the Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked mushroom mixture with cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. If you’re using sausage or bacon, add it into the mixture as well. Stir until well incorporated.
6. Stuff the Mushroom Caps: Take each mushroom cap and fill it generously with the stuffing mixture. Press down slightly to pack it in.
7. Arrange & Bake: Place the stuffed mushrooms on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the mushrooms are tender.
8. Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven, let them cool for a few minutes, and serve warm.
